Description :

« Deux femmes ancestrales nommées Ganapa et Banyili traversaient la plaine appelée Garaŋardi ou Bukulili. Tout en marchant, elles portaient leurs Bol'pu sur le dos, avec la corde en travers du front. Elles allaient chercher du Guya (poisson) à un Milŋurr (point d'eau). Il y a quelques Milŋurr à cet endroit. Les Guya (poissons) sont appelés Birrkuku (poisson rayé noir et blanc), et Guyula ou Narrunpuma (poisson-chat). C'est un pays sacré pour mon clan Dhudi-Djapu.
Après l'envol d’un Djet (balbuzard), les deux femmes ont traversé ce pays à pied pour rejoindre leur terre natale de Dhuruputjpi. Le Wayin (oiseau), un Daŋgultji (brolga), volait au-dessus pendant que les femmes pêchaient.
Elles ont laissé leurs deux bâtons à fouir à côté du Ḏawu (l’arbre banian).
Elles y accrochèrent leurs sacs à collecte. »

Description:

« Two ancestral women named Ganapa and Banyili were walking across the plain called Garaŋardi or Bukulili. As they were walking, their Bol’pu (dilly bags) were carried on their backs with a string across their forehead. They were getting Guya (fish) at Milŋurr (waterhole). There’s a few Milŋurr at this place. The Guya (fish) are called Birrkuku (black and white striped butterfish), and Guyula or Narrunpuma (catfish). This is sacred country for my Dhudi-Djapu clan.
After Djet (osprey) flew off, the two women walked across this country to Dhuruputjpi homeland. The Wayin (bird), Daŋgultji (brolga), flew above while the women fished.
They left their two digging sticks beside the Dawu (banyan tree).
They hung their dilly bags on this tree. »
