Exclusively for BHV, IDAIA is launching its new collection of Aboriginal textile accessories IKUNTJI at BHV MARAIS from January 29, 2022 .
After the Bábbarra Collection , developed in collaboration with the women artists of the Bábbarra Women's Center in the community of Maningrida in Arnhem Land, the Ikuntji Collection takes you to the heart of the central desert of Australia, to meet the Ikuntji artists.
The launch is part of the BHV's operation "Couleurs Australie - A chromatic journey", from January 29 to February 27, 2022, organized in partnership with Tourism Australia and the Australian Embassy in Paris.
On this occasion, the BHV is placing Australia at the heart of the department store, with a selection of essential Australian brands showcased in the Agora on the ground floor , an exhibition Piinpi: contemporary Aboriginal fashion in the Observatory, an ephemeral Australian café, and a program of workshops and meetings.
